Carrollton Regional Medical Center – Carrollton's robotic surgery system offers a minimally invasive method of treatment for a variety of conditions. Robotic surgery has several unique features designed to provide additional clinical benefits and efficiency in the operating room. The robot improves the surgeon's view and allows greater control through incisions that are only about 1-2 centimeters in size. Other benefits experienced by patients may include shorter hospital stay, significantly less pain, and less blood loss.

Robotic surgery can be used for a multitude of procedures, including, but not limited to: fibroid tumors, endometriosis, uterine prolapse, cancers of the cervix and uterus, hysterectomy, colorectal surgery, Gallbladder removal, and other abdominal surgeries.
